The AFL Outer East is pleased to release its 2019 Annual Report to the public after a very successful year for both the Commission and the League.
The AFL Outer East’s financial performance this year exceeded all expectations. Not only did the organisation record an operating profit of $177,243, they were also able to clear all debts and write off all discontinued stock.
League Region General Manager Aaron Bailey, says this result can not be played down, especially given the fact that the League changed its headquarters on two occasions throughout the year, initially exchanging offices with ATC Energy in Lilydale, before making the move to Kilsyth Recreation Reserve with NAB League outfit Eastern Ranges.
These programs come on top of the recent AFL Victoria announcement that there will be no AFL Victoria Affiliation fees in 2020. This provides significant savings for all AFL Outer East clubs.
